Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Yang Morks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maurice Sullivan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morks comes to the cage accompanied by The Champ. Yang Morks could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Maurice Sullivan's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Yang Morks! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Maurice Sullivan! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Eliza Hachem and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Morks keeps Sullivan at a distance using the push kick. Morks gets caught napping as Sullivan dives in and scores a takedown. Morks manages to retain guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Sullivan throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Morks works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Sullivan stands and throws Morks's legs to the side, diving into side control. Sullivan is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Morks knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Morks dodges the ground and pound from Sullivan. Sullivan throws a strike aimed at the side of Morks's head but Morks avoids it well. Morks is trying to get back to his feet. Sullivan postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Sullivan working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sullivan landing strikes. The strikes coming from Sullivan are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sullivan grinds an elbow into Morks's temple. Sullivan tries to advance to mount but can't. Sullivan wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Morks, who protects the arm well. Morks tries to escape but Sullivan is in control. Sullivan tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Sullivan tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Morks is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Sullivan asserts his dominance and retains side control. Sullivan in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Sullivan misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Morks prevents Sullivan from moving into mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sullivan tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Sullivan has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Sullivan is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Morks has escaped the position, nice work there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sullivan tries for a kimura but Morks is defending well. The strikes coming from Sullivan are missing the target in this wave of attacks. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Morks is trying to buck Sullivan off. Sullivan wants to control but Morks is keeping him busy. Sullivan lands a nice forearm strike. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sullivan trying to control the action but Morks is working from the bottom. Morks is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Morks really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Sullivan is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Morks is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. An elbow from Sullivan crashes against the mat.
Sullivan is looking to take a break and control but Morks is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Sullivan scores with punches from side control. Morks is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Sullivan has just dragged him back down to the mat. Sullivan wants to control but Morks is keeping him busy. Morks wants to get back to his feet but Sullivan drags him back down. Sullivan decides to stand up, so the ref orders Morks to his feet. Morks misses with a looping left. Yang Morks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Morks misses with a left hand and Sullivan counters with a nice double leg into side control. Morks won't be happy with that. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sullivan working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Morks is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Sullivan is controlling him well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sullivan is looking to take a break and control but Morks is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Morks parries the strikes from Sullivan easily there. Sullivan is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Morks to escape.
Sullivan controls the position from side control. Morks wants to get back to his feet. Sullivan thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Sullivan wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Morks, who protects the arm well. Sullivan moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Sullivan lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Maurice Sullivan dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Morks throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Sullivan stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Yang Morks is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Morks scores with a punch to the head. Sullivan avoids the head kick by Morks.
Morks misses with a few strikes there.
Morks will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Sullivan steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Morks. Morks throws a right hand that misses
and Sullivan counters with a nice double leg into guard. Morks keeping moving, preventing Sullivan from controlling successfully. Morks keeping full guard, as Sullivan tries to pass. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sullivan is pushing down on Morks's leg trying to pass to half guard. Morks is fighting to maintain full guard but Sullivan has managed to sneak the leg through. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sullivan throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Sullivan is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Morks defends it well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sullivan is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Morks tries to kick Sullivan off but Sullivan keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Sullivan has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Sullivan landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Sullivan wants to control but Morks is keeping him busy. Sullivan missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Sullivan works his foot free and advances to mount. You get the feeling that Morks really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Sullivan punching from mount but Morks doing a good job of avoiding damage. Sullivan trying to control but Morks is having none of it. Sullivan working the ground and pound effectively.
Sullivan connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sullivan raining down hammerfists from mount. Sullivan controlling from the full mount. Morks wants to try and get back to his feet. Morks takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Maurice Sullivan has got the better of the ground game so far. Morks squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Sullivan lands a big elbow. Sullivan breaks from Morks's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Morks is rocked! Sullivan has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Morks's face.
Oh Morks is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Morks wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Sullivan is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Morks is surviving well by controlling Sullivan's body position as best he can. Sullivan can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Morks is looking to escape. Morks seems to have got his legs back now. Sullivan lands a nice shot to the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sullivan is working for a guillotine from mount but Morks frees his head quite easily.
Morks is in a horrible position here. Sullivan smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Sullivan with a couple of short strikes. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Sullivan cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Sullivan has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Sullivan with good strikes from the mount here! Sullivan landing punches. Sullivan sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Sullivan tries to control but Morks wriggling away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Morks wants to try and get back to his feet. Sullivan with the ground and pound from mount. Sullivan unloading with bombs! BOOM! Sullivan connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Sullivan postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Morks badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Sullivan around the waist but Sullivan pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Sullivan is the winner by TKO! Sullivan jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:53 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Maurice Sullivan!
