Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marc KroKop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harald Friedricksen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). KroKop's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, This Day We Fight. Friedricksen has chosen The Pursuit of Vikings by Amon Amarth as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marc KroKop!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Harald Friedricksen!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Albert Achterberg and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
KroKop does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Friedricksen keeps KroKop at a distance using the push kick.
A head kick by KroKop misses
and Friedricksen counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Marc KroKop has been cut.
KroKop is looking to land body kicks.
KroKop pulls out of a head kick attempt.
KroKop pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
KroKop dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Friedricksen. That did some damage!
This has been an exciting period of action!

A punch combination from Friedricksen misses.
Friedricksen closes the distance and lands a one-two.
KroKop wants to land a leg kick but Friedricksen is out of range.
Friedricksen paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

KroKop misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A head kick misses from Friedricksen.
Harald Friedricksen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Friedricksen misses with a few strikes there.
KroKop misses with a kick to the body.
KroKop closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
KroKop misses with a head kick.
KroKop keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Friedricksen will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
KroKop has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Friedricksen.

That kick from KroKop tenderised Friedricksen's leg. Friedricksen is trying to keep his angry face on.
Friedricksen lands a high kick!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
KroKop misses with a head kick.
KroKop throws a sloppy head kick and Friedricksen moves out of range easily.

and Friedricksen counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Friedricksen swinging wildly here.
Friedricksen jabs KroKop to the body, keeping him at a distance.
KroKop is breathing heavily.

Friedricksen smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Friedricksen goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
A head kick misses from Friedricksen.
Friedricksen misses with a body kick.
Friedricksen lands a big head kick that sends KroKop tumbling to the mat! Friedricksen takes a step backwards and waves KroKop back to his feet - he wants the finish!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A slow jab from KroKop misses its intended target.
Friedricksen bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps KroKop's head backwards.
Friedricksen misses with an attempted mid kick.
Friedricksen lands a left and a right that send KroKop crashing to the mat, dazed. Friedricksen thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
KroKop is rocked!
That's four minutes gone in the round.
KroKop moves out of range as Friedricksen throws a body kick.
Friedricksen plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends KroKop swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! KroKop face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Harald Friedricksen!
Harald Friedricksen tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
