The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pinta darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Stark throws a lazy uppercut
and Pinta counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Stark throws a body kick that misses.
Thomas Stark seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice jab there from Pinta.
Stark cracks Pinta with a right hand to the side of the head.
Stark cracks the inside of Pinta's front leg.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Stark fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Pinta looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Pinta throws the kick towards the body but Stark avoids it.
Stark throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Pinta.
Stark throws a leg kick that misses.
Pinta throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Stark sees it coming and avoids it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Pinta misses with a looping left.
Stark pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Pinta back to the cage. Stark follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Stark connects with a combination that backs up Pinta into the cage. Stark lands a flurry of punches that gets past Pinta's guard. Pinta is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Stark bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Thomas Stark!
