Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Billy Goat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sven S Svensson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Goat comes to the cage accompanied by Impaled Nazarene - Cult of the Goat. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

That was a close round but I would say that Billy Goat will probably get the nod.

Svensson misses with a double jab

and Goat counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Svensson!
Goat has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Svensson is looking to get to half guard.
Svensson tries to hold on but Goat pushes him away.
Billy Goat overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Goat here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Svensson lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Goat has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Goat and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Goat is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Billy Goat.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Goat, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
