Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nyrkki Sankari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sankari comes into the arena with The Odorants - This Night blaring out of the sound system. Thompson is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Danzig - Mother. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
17 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nyrkki Sankari!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

16 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rick Thompson!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Roosa Järviläinen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Thompson misses with a looping right.
The fighters circling - Sankari throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Sankari uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Thompson.
Thompson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sankari.
Sankari tests Thompson's chin there with a solid looking shot.
A head kick misses from Sankari.
Sankari throws a combination. Thompson tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Thompson swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
A punch lands to the side of Sankari 's head but he takes it in his stride.
It looks like Nyrkki Sankari has been cut.
Thompson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Sankari uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Thompson.
Sankari ducks under a wild hook from Thompson.
Nice uppercut there from Sankari.
Thompson throws a poor cross that misses
and Sankari counters with a low kick, right behind Thompson 's knee.
Sankari throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Thompson looks gassed!
Sankari misses with an uppercut. Thompson saw that one coming.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sankari comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Thompson has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Sankari.
Thompson takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Sankari is looking to land body kicks.
A good leg kick by Sankari.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sankari keeps Thompson at a distance using the push kick.
Sankari drops Thompson with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Thompson looks back up at him and smiles so Sankari waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Thompson is rocked!
Sankari connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Thompson out cold! This one is over in a flash!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Nyrkki Sankari!
Nyrkki Sankari decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
