Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Calgary Alberta!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Gregory Folan and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alberta connects with the punch.
Alberta with a poor takedown
and Krzak cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Alberta shoots for a double leg takedown but Krzak sprawls well. He's pushed Alberta's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Alberta bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Krzak moves away from the strike by Alberta.

Alberta has managed to clinch.

Krzak breaks the clinch.
Krzak lands a jab to the head.


It looks like Calgary Alberta has been cut.
Alberta shoots for a double leg takedown but Krzak sprawls well. He's pushed Alberta's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Krzysztof Krzak has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Calgary Alberta.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Krzak leaves Alberta with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Krzak scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Alberta throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Alberta shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Krzak but Krzak pushes him off and we're back to square one.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Krzak is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

The cut above Calgary Alberta's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Alberta bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Alberta postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Alberta tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Alberta has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Krzak on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Krzak tries to get out of the position.

Krzak is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Krzysztof Krzak wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Alberta shoots in for a takedown but Krzak shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Alberta tries to close the distance and clinch up but Krzak swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Alberta misses with a takedown attempt - Krzak sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

A close second round but Calgary Alberta will probably get the nod - 10:9.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


Krzak connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Alberta momentarily.

Alberta gets a takedown into half guard.
Calgary Alberta has got the better of the ground game so far.

Alberta is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Krzak still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Krzak has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

Krzak has control of an arm but Alberta manages to advance to Krzak's back!

Alberta is throwing shots to the body but Krzak manages to wriggle free. Alberta pounces on him again and ends up in Krzak's guard.
Alberta throws an elbow that misses. Krzak uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Alberta's guard. Nice move by Krzak!

Alberta looking for a guillotine here but Krzak defends easily.
Krzak stands and throws Alberta's legs to the side, diving into side control.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Alberta tries to control but Krzak manages to take his back.
Krzak gets his hands free as Alberta looks to control.
Alberta rolls, trying to escape but Krzak keeps control of the position.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Alberta wants to control his opponent's hands but Krzak gets his hands free.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Calgary Alberta.
I think Alberta has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
