Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jack Winchester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Downing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Winchester comes to the cage accompanied by Jack The Ripper - Nick Cave. Downing comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Ya Life's on the line by 50 Cent kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Danny Downing will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Winchester! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Danny Downing! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Paul Tew and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Winchester shoots for a takedown but Downing saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Winchester moves into the clinch successfully.
Downing jumps guard but Winchester stands there with Downing around his waist. Downing gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Downing is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Downing gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Winchester.
Downing successfully pulls guard.
Downing looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Winchester has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Downing escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Winchester gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Winchester controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Winchester forces his way into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Downing trying to control here.

Winchester wants to lay and pray for a moment but Downing keeps working. Downing trying to hold on to Winchester's head to control him but Winchester postures up.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Winchester is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Downing is just riding it out for now. Winchester eventually gives up the hold.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Winchester shoots in and drives through. Downing sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Winchester. That's going to take a lot out of him. Downing has his takedown stuffed and Winchester counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Winchester gets caught flat footed, as Downing shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Winchester is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Winchester is breathing heavily. Downing controlling from the top position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Downing trying to control but Winchester is working from the bottom. Winchester is trying to keep Downing in close.
Downing passes easily into side control. Nice work. Downing has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Downing misses with a takedown attempt and Winchester counters with a shoot takedown. Downing fights it but they end up in guard. Winchester might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Downing wants to sweep but no luck. Winchester trying to control but Downing is working from the bottom. Downing trying to control the position here. Downing looking to control.
Downing managing to control the position. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Downing is on top in guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Danny Downing will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Winchester tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Winchester fails with the takedown. Winchester pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Downing misses with a takedown and Winchester counters by clinching up. Downing drags the fight down to the ground.

Winchester tries to stand but Downing is controlling from the bottom. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Winchester has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Downing to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Winchester is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Downing pulls down on the head and he's put Winchester to sleep! This one is all over!
