Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bv Rasp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bv Rasp! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Josh Johnson! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Alec Ball and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Rasp moves out of range as Johnson strikes. Johnson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Johnson misses with a hook. Rasp ducked under it nicely. Rasp shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Johnson is trying to defend but Rasp finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Johnson tries to roll over but Rasp keeps him under control. Johnson actively working from the bottom here. Rasp is trying to work for a kimura but Johnson is defending well.

Johnson is staying active underneath Rasp, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson tries to kick Rasp off but Rasp keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Rasp is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Johnson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Rasp. Rasp is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The fighters are battling for position here. Johnson manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Rasp looking to pass the guard. Rasp wants to control from the top but Johnson keeps moving. Johnson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Rasp defends it easily. Johnson working for submissions but it's allowed Rasp to get to half guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Johnson pushes Rasp off looking to stand but Rasp dives back in and keeps control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rasp is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Rasp maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Johnson could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Rasp has cracked it and Johnson is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Rasp!
