A fine choice. Axel Drago could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Nikolai Kovalenko's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drago lands a big right hand that sends Kovalenko crashing to the mat! Drago stays standing though and waves Kovalenko back to his feet!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Drago throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Kovalenko counters with a nice low kick that buckles Drago's knee momentarily.

Drago moves forwards but Kovalenko connects with a nice, crisp jab.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Drago takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A relieved looking Axel Drago thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
