Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Rico Ramos! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kevin Lok! The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Colin Fray and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ramos throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lok. Ramos tries to clinch there but Lok circles away.
Ramos on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Lok. Lok obviously looking to wear him down.
Ramos shoots in and gets a takedown into Lok's guard. Lok is looking for a triangle but Ramos pushes his legs off easily.
Ramos stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lok swivels though and keeps the full guard. Lok has his foot on Ramos's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ramos works his way back into a safe position though. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ramos trying to control the position from guard on top but Lok is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ramos knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lok on the ground. Lok has his foot on Ramos's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ramos works his way back into a safe position though. Lok is looking for a triangle but Ramos pushes his legs off easily.
Lok wants to sweep here but Ramos controlling him for the moment.

Lok wriggles free and stands up. Lok gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Lok wants to sweep but no luck. Lok is looking for a triangle but Ramos pushes his legs off easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ramos trying to control the position from guard on top but Lok is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ramos pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lok is keeping the position for now. Lok has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ramos can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Lok manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Ramos manages to get himself to full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Lok throwing strikes from guard but Ramos blocks nicely. Ramos on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Ramos tries to get out of the position. Ramos looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Lok passes easily into side control. Nice work. Lok tries for a kimura but Ramos is defending well. Lok is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Ramos is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Lok has hold of Ramos's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Ramos seems comfortable defending it but Lok has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Ramos is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Ramos is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Lok couldn't care less - he's delighted!
