Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Krisu Leepen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Takanori Gomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Leepen comes to the cage accompanied by The Prodigy - "Warriors Dance". Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Krisu Leepen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Takanori Gomi!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomi tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Leepen manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Gomi clinches up with Leepen and pushes him back against the cage.
Gomi manages to break the clinch.
Takanori Gomi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gomi drops Leepen with a left and a right! Oh, Leepen is hurt - Gomi dives into side control looking to finish!
Leepen is rocked!
It looks like Krisu Leepen has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Leepen tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Gomi wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Oh Leepen is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gomi working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Gomi decides to stand up, so the ref orders Leepen to his feet.
Leepen seems to have got his legs back now.
Leepen looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Gomi connects with a high kick.
Gomi misses with a jab, cross combination.
Leepen blocks a head kick by Gomi.
Gomi has managed to clinch.
A short uppercut from Gomi.
Gomi lands a right hand that snaps the head of Leepen backwards.
Leepen drops down looking for an ankle pick but Gomi pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gomi clinches with his opponent.
Leepen is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Gomi is defending well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Krisu Leepen. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Gomi breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Gomi feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Leepen crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Takanori Gomi!
