The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gaylord doesn't manage to clinch there - Parantainen circles away.
Gaylord drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Parantainen is not content to let Gaylord control the position.
Parantainen manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Gaylord misses with a head shot. Parantainen uses the momentum to regain guard.
Gaylord throwing strikes but missing.
Gaylord wants to control from the top but Parantainen keeps moving.
Parantainen is controlling Gaylord's posture.

Parantainen wants to stand up but Gaylord is controlling him.
Gaylord won't allow Parantainen to sweep him here.
Parantainen looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Gaylord has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Parantainen to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Gaylord is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Parantainen pulls down on the head and he's put Gaylord to sleep! This one is all over!
