Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Dank (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Ellison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dank comes to the cage accompanied by let the bodies hit the floor. Ellison is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by im bad. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, John Dank! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Antonio Ellison! The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Ryoma Takatsuka and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight stays on the outside here - Ellison looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Dank darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Dank wants to get back to his feet.
Dank wants to control but Ellison is keeping him busy. Ellison wants to get back to full guard. Dank is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dank thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Dank is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Ellison sees it coming and defends easily. Ellison trying to control here.
Dank is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Ellison reverses the position - he's now on top in Dank's guard. Ellison tries to stand but Dank is controlling from the bottom.

That was a close round but I would say that John Dank will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Dank shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Dank controlling the pace for now. Dank moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Ellison has worked his arm free - good work by Ellison!

That's one minute gone in the round. Dank trying to control the action but Ellison is working from the bottom. Dank decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Ellison shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Dank as he avoids it easily. Dank throws a head kick that misses. Dank shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ellison's guard. Dank trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Ellison manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Ellison stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dank swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ellison is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Ellison postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Dank controls Ellison momentarily but Ellison frees himself. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Dank working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Ellison. Dank manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Ellison manages to get himself to full guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that John Dank will probably get the nod. That's time! Dank's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Dank fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Ellison to the ground. Dank is now in Ellison's guard. Ellison keeping full guard, as Dank tries to pass. Ellison is trying to keep Dank in close.
Ellison is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Dank is aware though and is defending well. Dank trying to control the position from guard on top but Ellison is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ellison looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Dank puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ellison is refusing to be controlled, as Dank sits in half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ellison is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Ellison makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Ellison. Dank trying to control the position from guard on top but Ellison is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ellison is trying to keep Dank in close.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of John Dank. Ellison shoots for a takedown but Dank saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Dank fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Ellison shoots in and gets a takedown into Dank's guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Ellison throws a big right hand that misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ellison lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Dank is pulling down on Ellison's head. It's preventing any offense from Ellison, at least for the moment. Dank looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ellison is one step ahead there. Dank wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Ellison is now in half guard. Dank wants to get back to full guard. Dank is trying to maintain the position but Ellison is very close to passing his half guard. Ellison is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Dank defends it well.

Ellison misses with a head shot. Dank uses the momentum to regain guard. Ellison loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
