Ellis comes to the cage accompanied by her song. Gracie is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Kickstart. Royce Gracie has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Gracie lands with a good body shot.
Ellis shoots and misses
and Gracie counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Gracie ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ellis moves away.

Gracie throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Gracie cracks Ellis with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Ellis shoots for a double leg takedown but Gracie sprawls well. He's pushed Ellis's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Gracie is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Ellis takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

It looks like Christina Ellis has been cut.

Oh Ellis is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gracie throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Ellis stumbling backwards into the cage! Ellis bounces back off the cage towards Gracie, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Gracie lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Gracie celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Royce Gracie!
