Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Cody Fry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesus Alvarez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fry kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Rain - Trivium. Cody Fry has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The judges for this bout are Josh West, Paul Gruel and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fry shoots in and drives through. Alvarez sprawls well.
Fry shoots in and bounces Alvarez off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Fry looking to sit in guard and control but Alvarez gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Fry holds on and takes a little breather.
Fry has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Alvarez off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Horrible takedown by Fry or perhaps it was just good defense by Alvarez which made him look bad.
