0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Tom Waits! The judges for this bout are James Glass, James Atkins and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Waits is looking to score with low kicks. Danga de danga de dang - Cage scores with a four punch combination! Waits throws a nice inside leg kick. Waits misses with a right hand and Cage counters with a low kick, right behind Waits 's knee. Waits lands a glancing blow to the side of Cage's head. Good work by Waits as he checks the leg kick. Waits dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Cage pushes Waits away with a front kick. Cage throws a hook to the side of Waits's head but Waits sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Waits punishes Cage's body with a nice straight punch. Good work by Waits as he checks the leg kick. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Waits lands with a nice body kick. Waits looks to land a left hand but Cage moved out of range nicely. Cage tries to work over Waits's front leg with a kick but Waits checks it. A low kick from Cage misses and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Waits looks to land a body kick but Cage moved away. Waits scores with a punch to the head. Waits misses the shot to the body.

Cage takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Waits takes a swing at Cage's ribcage but misses. A shot to the body from Waits misses and Cage counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Waits is lucky that one didn't land flush.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Waits thows a body shot but no joy. Cage throws a leg kick but Waits sees it coming and checks it nicely. Waits is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Cage rather than just go for the knockout. Cage misses with a few strikes there.

A head kick from Cage lands but Waits takes it in his stride. Cage throws a head kick that misses. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Waits blocks a head kick by Cage.
Cage is breathing heavily. Waits throws a sloppy head kick and Cage counters with a head kick. That will keep Waits thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Waits fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Cage. Cage throws the kick towards the body but Waits avoids it. Waits misses with a body shot.

Waits pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Cage tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Waits was well out of range. Poor timing from Cage. Waits misses with a body shot.
Waits jabs at Cage's body. Cage lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Waits circles away quickly and effectively. Cage lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Cage. Cage ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Sloppy strikes from Waits. Those never looked like landing. Waits shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Cage finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
A slow jab from Waits misses its intended target. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Waits is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Cage chopping away at his opponent's legs.

Waits tries to score with a low kick but Cage moves his leg out of the way. Waits thumps Cage with a low kick. Waits throws a hook to the side of Cage's head but Cage sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. A head kick misses from Waits. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Waits avoids a lazy jab quite easily. This has been an exciting period of action! Cage goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Cage with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Waits to score with a decent uppercut. Cage tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Waits was well out of range. Poor timing from Cage. Cage throws a front kick aimed at Waits's knee but Waits avoids it well.

Cage throws a sloppy head kick and Waits moves out of range easily. Cage looks to throw a body kick and Waits counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Cage thinking. Waits throws out a leg kick but Cage moves out of range and Waits only half commits. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Cage. Waits shrugs it off though. Waits tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Cage scoring well with a low kick there.

Johnny Cage has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Cage throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Waits.
And that's the end of the fight! Tom Waits comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Waits has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
