Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Henry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and jd Diesel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, James Henry! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, jd Diesel! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Ian Loll and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Henry tries to clinch but Diesel is having none of it. Diesel tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Henry tries to close the distance and clinch but Diesel swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Diesel shoots in looking for a takedown but Henry manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Diesel's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Diesel wants to clinch up but Henry keeps it at a distance. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Henry is defended easily by Diesel. Diesel tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Henry blocks a head kick by Diesel.
Diesel fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Diesel stuffs the takedown attempt from Henry. Henry gets slowly back to his feet. Henry tries for a takedown but Diesel circles away easily and Diesel counters with a one-two to the body. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James Henry. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Diesel holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Diesel misses with a knee to the head. Diesel wants a takedown.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Diesel changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Henry fights it off and pushes away nicely.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! No luck with that takedown attempt from Henry. Henry rushes Diesel and presses him up against the cage. Henry misses with a knee to the head. A frustrated look appears on Diesel's face as he tries to break the clinch. Diesel can't get the takedown.

Diesel turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Diesel manages to end up in side control. Diesel trying to control the position but Henry is working away. Henry can't do much from the bottom here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Diesel misses with the ground and pound. Henry might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Diesel wants to control but Henry is keeping him busy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Henry gets back to half guard. Diesel is keen to just control but Henry is a slippery customer. Henry is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Henry wants to get back to full guard but Diesel has passed into side control. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Diesel is trying to move to mount but Henry reverses beautifully and ends up in Diesel's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A low kick from Diesel is predictable there and Henry makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Henry with a lazy takedown attempt and Diesel counters with a left and a right that stings Henry. Diesel keeps the fight on the outside. Henry misses with a head kick.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Diesel misses with a takedown attempt - Henry sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Diesel fails in his attempt to clinch. Henry shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Diesel defends it nicely. Henry takes the fight into the clinch. Diesel looks to throw an elbow but misses.

Diesel jumps guard and drags Henry to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Diesel is breathing heavily. Henry decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Henry changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Henry checks a leg kick. Henry circles away from the clinch attempt.

Diesel is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Diesel is trying to pull guard but Henry turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Henry lands a nice uppercut. Henry lands a nice elbow. A short left from Henry. Henry tries to land a knee to the head but Diesel blocks with his arms.
