The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Romero looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Henke throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Henke misses with a few strikes there.
Henke misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Romero.
Romero tries for a takedown but Henke sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Henke looks to land a left hand but Romero moved out of range nicely.
Henke tries to bum rush Romero with a series of wild strikes but Romero uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Henke connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Henke lets loose with a powerful body kick. Romero will feel that in the morning.

and Henke counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Romero tries to close the distance and clinch up but Henke swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Romero tries for a takedown but Henke sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Henke ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Romero moves away.

Mikey Romero seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Romero shoots for a double leg takedown but Henke sprawls well. He's pushed Romero's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Romero is rocked!
Romero is trying desperately to land a takedown but Henke is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Romero.

and Henke counters with a huge left! Romero is in big trouble! He's backing up but Henke isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Romero from any more damage. A dominating finish by Henke!
