The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Xanthos misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Xanthos has Gbgbgb up against the cage in a clinch.
Gbgbgb is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Xanthos pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Xanthos is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Gbgbgb is defending well for now.
Gbgbgb is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Gbgbgb gets a warning from the ref for wasting time.

Xanthos tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Gbgbgb avoids it.
Gbgbgb's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Gbgbgb shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Xanthos eats them both and turns towards Gbgbgb to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
It looks like Castiel Xanthos has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gbgbgb connects with a nice cross there... Xanthos is looking wobbly and Gbgbgb recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Xanthos to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Gbgbgb jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
