Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Emerson Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jiu Jitsu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jitsu has chosen Nikkfurie- The a la Menthe as his entrance music. Jiu Jitsu acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Emerson Santos! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jiu Jitsu! The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Micheangelo Fripello and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jitsu shoots in but doesn't get the takedown so Santos counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Jitsu throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Santos throwing strikes from guard but Jitsu blocks nicely. Santos throws a strike but Jitsu rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Jitsu wants to control from the top but Santos keeps moving. Santos is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Jitsu defends well. Santos escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jitsu gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jitsu wants to get up but he can't break Santos's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Santos working a defensive guard here.
Jitsu stands up from Santos's guard - Jitsu perhaps looking for a knockout. Jitsu closes the distance and clinches up with Santos, looking for a takedown. Jitsu pushes Santos against the cage but Santos circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Jitsu shoots in looking for a takedown but Santos manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jitsu's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Emerson Santos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jiu Jitsu. Santos tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jitsu swivels and escapes. No luck for Santos with that takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jitsu drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Santos working a defensive guard but Jitsu manages to pass into side control anyway.
Santos is looking for a sweep. Jitsu looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Santos is looking for a sweep. Jitsu goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Santos has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Jitsu but great work by Santos. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jitsu on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Santos lands a nice forearm strike. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Santos looks up at the clock and then as Jitsu takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Santos smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jitsu on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Santos is looking to take a break and control but Jitsu is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Santos tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Jitsu can't do much from the bottom here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Santos decides to stand up, so the ref orders Jitsu to his feet. Jitsu shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Santos stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Santos wants it to stay on the feet. Jitsu scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Santos stuffs the takedown. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jitsu shoots for a takedown but Santos saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Jitsu shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Jitsu fails with a takedown attempt. Jitsu looks gassed! Santos looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jitsu is fending him off so far but Santos persists. Nope, Jitsu circles away and we're back to standing.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Santos is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jitsu sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Santos tries for a takedown but Jitsu sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Jitsu shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Santos leaves Jitsu with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Santos. Santos shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Santos is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Jitsu is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
