Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Michael Johnson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, James Tucker! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Winston Howard and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson shoots in but no luck this time. Johnson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Johnson keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Tucker. Tucker is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Johnson closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Tucker connects with the punch. Nice takedown defense from Tucker. No joy for Johnson on that attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michael Johnson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Tucker stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Tucker wants it to stay on the feet. No luck for Johnson with that takedown attempt. Tucker with a body punch. A glancing blow. This has been an exciting period of action! Tucker scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Johnson is breathing heavily. Johnson shoots in but Tucker avoids the takedown attempt easily. Tucker connects with a good right hand that stumbles Johnson. Johnson circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Tucker jabs at Johnson's body. Tucker lands a really nice looking cross but Johnson seems unphased.

That's one minute gone in the round. Tucker scores with a nice head shot. Johnson walks into a jab. Tucker throws a push kick but Johnson slaps the foot to one side. Tucker lands with a hook. Johnson tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Tucker cracks Johnson with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Johnson looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Tucker finish him?
Johnson is rocked! Tucker is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Johnson had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tucker scores with a jab. Oh Johnson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Crack! Tucker connects with the perfect overhand right and Johnson falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Tucker!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). James Tucker! James Tucker spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
