Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Dmitry Maklakov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barbio throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Barbio closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Boyka to the mat! Boyka manages to get full guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Barbio engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Barbio knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Boyka on the ground.
Barbio wanted to stand there but Boyka had control of the position.
Barbio has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Barbio prevents Boyka from getting back to his feet.
Barbio stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Boyka swivels though and keeps the full guard.
We're going to have a standup here because William Barbio wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Barbio looks for a takedown but Boyka sprawls well.

Boyka misses with a takedown attempt - Barbio sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Barbio fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Boyka avoids it really well and circles away.
Barbio drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Barbio content to stall in guard here.
Barbio is looking to work some ground and pound but Boyka has wrist control.
Boyka throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Barbio trying to control but Boyka is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Boyka is trying to control the position from the bottom.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Sloppy strikes from Barbio. Those never looked like landing.
Horrible takedown by Boyka or perhaps it was just good defense by Barbio which made him look bad.
Barbio throws a push kick but Boyka slaps the foot to one side.
Boyka scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Barbio tries to clinch but Boyka is having none of it.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Barbio has closed the distance and engaged Boyka in a clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Boyka wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Barbio has him pressed against the cage.
Boyka is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Barbio pulls him back up using the underhooks.
William Barbio has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yuri Boyka.
Barbio has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Barbio is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Boyka to keep the fight standing.
Boyka breaks from the clinch.
Boyka scores with a head kick.
Boyka swats away the attempt to clinch by Barbio.
Boyka tries for a takedown but Barbio circles away easily
and Barbio counters with a crisp one two that drops Boyka! Barbio thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Boyka to his feet! Boyka is in big trouble!
Boyka is rocked!
Boyka looks gassed!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Barbio shoots in for a takedown. Oh, that's a huge slam! Boyka is on queer street and Barbio is pounding down on him with a barage of strikes. The ref is forced to step in and stop the fight. Great finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Slam). William Barbio!
