Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Klein East (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and R J MacReady (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). East comes to the cage accompanied by Cold as Ice- M.O.P.. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 29 - 13 - 1, fighting out of New York, Klein East!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 18 - 0, fighting out of New York, R J MacReady!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Joseph Jones and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
East defending well as MacReady loads up on a big left hand.
MacReady lands a two punch combo.
East scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
East scores with a head kick. MacReady tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
MacReady misses with a wild combination.
MacReady misses with a low kick as East jumps back.
MacReady ducks right into an uppercut from East.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
East goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Good shot there by East.
MacReady takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Jab from East.
East throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
East drops his hands momentarily and MacReady takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
MacReady misses with a wild combination.
A combination from MacReady does no damage.
MacReady on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

East fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
MacReady misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from East.
East throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
East takes a jab right on the kisser.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as MacReady checks a leg kick.
East fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and MacReady has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
East lands a jab.
East cracks a nice hook into MacReady's ribs.
Nice uppercut there from MacReady.
MacReady avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
A nice combination there by MacReady.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
East shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has MacReady pinned against the cage. MacReady gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
MacReady throws an overhand right that lands on East's shoulder, as East tries to avoid the shot.

East slips under a jab.
R J MacReady is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
East keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
MacReady swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
East slips under a jab from MacReady.
East fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. MacReady looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
East works MacReady's body with a nice hook.
Some bone on bone action there as MacReady checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
A decent looking body kick lands there for East.
East tries a head kick but it misses.
East is looking to clinch.
East lands a leg kick that knocks MacReady off balance momentarily.
MacReady misses with a body punch
and East counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
MacReady stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and MacReady wants it to stay on the feet.
MacReady swinging wildly here.
MacReady thows a leg kick but East checks it
enabling East to counter with a crisp jab.
East tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but MacReady swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Klein East. That's going to take a lot out of him.

East looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
East lands a head kick. MacReady smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
East tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
MacReady throws a series of punches but East moves out of range.
MacReady uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by East.
MacReady throws the left hand but East avoids the punch easily.
A combination from MacReady does no damage.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from East lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and MacReady has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from MacReady and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

East fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. MacReady sprawls well initially but East persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
East is trying to control. MacReady wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
MacReady won't allow East to pass to mount.
East is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
East trying to control but MacReady is working from the bottom.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
East with a flurry of punches that miss.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
East prevents MacReady from getting back to his feet.
East showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
East scoring with some ground and pound.
East lands a couple of elbows.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
MacReady working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from East.

East is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Klein East dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


MacReady is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by East.
MacReady lands a straight punch to the body, keeping East at a distance.
East fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
East is looking to wear down MacReady with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
MacReady misses with the combination.
A looping hook to the body misses from MacReady. East does a little dance to reset his feet.
Good leg kick by East there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Klein East is winning the standup battle so far.
East looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
East changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Good exchange - East coming out on top.
East digs a good hook to MacReady's body.
MacReady throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
East scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
R J MacReady is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

East shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches MacReady napping and manages to drive through into side control!

That's one minute gone in the round.
MacReady is trying to improve his position.
MacReady is breathing heavily.
East throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
East trying to control the action but MacReady is working from the bottom.
East cracks MacReady with an elbow. That is naaassty.
East tries to score with some ground and pound. MacReady controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
MacReady regains half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
MacReady trying to control from the bottom.
MacReady is staying active underneath East, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
MacReady keeps control of the position for the meantime.
MacReady is not content to let East control the position.
East content to control rather than advance.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
East is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
East uses his free foot to push down on MacReady's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for MacReady.
East breaks from MacReady's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Klein East overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
East working away from the top, dropping strikes.


MacReady is rocked!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
East softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and MacReady is out cold! East jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:42 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Klein East!
