Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Armor King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricardo Airaldi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). King comes to the cage accompanied by Hellbound. Airaldi has chosen Three days grace - Pain as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Armor King! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ricardo Airaldi! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Taro Takaoka and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! King closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Airaldi tries to improve position but can't. King decides to stand up, so the ref orders Airaldi to his feet. King fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Airaldi. No luck for King with that takedown attempt. Airaldi is looking to clinch. Airaldi is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Airaldi tries to clinch but King moves out of range. Airaldi has closed the distance and engaged King in a clinch.
King goes for a takedown attempt but Airaldi pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Armor King. That's going to take a lot out of him. King feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. That's one minute gone in the round. King stands up from guard. Let's bang! King is looking to clinch. Airaldi throws a body kick that misses. King scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. King is breathing heavily. Airaldi is trying to escape the position but King is controlling the position. Airaldi tries to buck King off but King is having none of it. Airaldi manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Airaldi is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Airaldi is looking to control King's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Airaldi avoid being mounted? King is controlling the pace.

King controlling the action here. King stands up out of the half guard. King fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Airaldi sprawls well initially but King persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Airaldi wants to control but King is keeping busy and won't allow it. King stands up and beckons Airaldi to join him on the feet. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Airaldi rushes King and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

King could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Airaldi pulls guard effortlessly. Airaldi is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
King wants to get up but he can't break Airaldi's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. King seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. King tries to stand but Airaldi is controlling from the bottom. King controlling from the top position. King trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Airaldi can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as King controls the pace. Airaldi looking for a guillotine here but King defends easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. King stands and steps away. Airaldi gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. King misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. King circles away from the clinch attempt and King counters with a shoot takedown. Airaldi fights it but they end up in guard. King wants to stand but Airaldi has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Airaldi is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! King rolls with it to try and escape but Airaldi cranks on the arm and King is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
