Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Obi Wan King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Berikk Berikk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). King comes to the cage accompanied by Police On My Back. Berikk has chosen Hollywood Undead - No. 5 as his entrance music. Berikk Berikk told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Berikk Berikk!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Berikk closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
King keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Berikk looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Berikk throws an off balance right hand
and King counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
King clobbers Berikk with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Berikk fails to land the takedown.
Obi Wan King has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Berikk Berikk.

Berikk shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

King is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Berikk fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Berikk misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
King really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Berikk creates some space and throws a big elbow, but King sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Berikk is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. King knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Berikk throwing strikes but King bucks up and reverses the position. He's now in guard on top.

King got a little sloppy there for a moment and Berikk has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, King has managed to get both his arms back between Berikk's legs - danger averted.

King gets to his feet - Berikk follows without any prompting.
Berikk shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
King defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Berikk.
Berikk is on the wrong end of a nice combination from King.
King tests Berikk's chin there with a solid looking shot.

King misses with a few strikes there.
King wants to clinch up but Berikk keeps it at a distance.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Berikk throws a lazy right hand but King sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

King forces Berikk back against the cage and clinches.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
King is trying to push Berikk away but Berikk has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
King can't break the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Berikk takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
King slips under a jab from Berikk.
Berikk tries to move into range but King moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Berikk keeps the fight on the outside.

Obi Wan King is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Berikk shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Berikk throwing shots but King is blocking nicely.
King pushes Berikk off looking to stand but Berikk dives back in and keeps control.
Berikk tries to pass to full mount but King defends it.
Berikk takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Berikk throwing shots but King is blocking nicely.
King is in trouble now - Berikk has advanced to mount!
King gets back to half guard.
Berikk works his foot free and advances to mount.
Berikk lands with some vicious ground and pound - can King hang on?

King is rocked!
Berikk lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Oh King is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Berikk loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have King scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Berikk land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Berikk stands and salutes the crowd.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Berikk Berikk!

Berikk Berikk decided to call for a title shot in his post fight interview, which was very strange given the fact this fight was for a title and he's already the champion. I guess that's what getting punched in the head does for you.
