Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dexter Fabree (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brett Swayze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Fabree might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Flo Rida - Good Feeling. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dexter Fabree!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brett Swayze!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Alec Ball and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fabree misses with a takedown attempt - Swayze sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
A combination from Swayze does no damage.
Swayze scores with a head kick. Fabree tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Fabree avoids the head kick by Swayze.
Fabree takes a jab right on the kisser.
Brett Swayze seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Fabree decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Swayze's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Fabree is looking to work some ground and pound but Swayze has wrist control.
Fabree might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Fabree has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Fabree pulls Swayze in close to his closed guard and prevents Swayze from doing any damage or advancing position.

Swayze is fighting to break Fabree's control of his arms but Fabree is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Swayze lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Swayze jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Swayze is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Swayze throws an overhand right that lands on Fabree's shoulder, as Fabree tries to avoid the shot.
Swayze's jab looks to have found its range, popping Fabree under the eye.

Swayze has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Swayze throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Fabree darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Fabree thows a huge punch but Swayze dodges it nicely.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Fabree winds up and cracks Swayze with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Swayze can do anything to dispel that myth.
Fabree thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Swayze's head.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fabree slips a nice elbow through Swayze's hands, connecting with Swayze's forehead.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Fabree lands a nice short elbow.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Fabree is taking a breather. Swayze says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Swayze really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fabree. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Fabree wants to pass the guard but Swayze is defending well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dexter Fabree dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Nice sprawl there from Swayze as Fabree shoots in.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Swayze. Fabree shrugs it off though.
A jab lands there for Swayze.
Swayze throws a right and a left that Fabree avoids nicely.
Swayze throws a head kick but Fabree moves out of range.
Swayze throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Fabree sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Swayze leaves Fabree with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Swayze tests Fabree's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Fabree shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Swayze bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Fabree's head backwards.
Swayze throws a sloppy head kick and Fabree moves out of range easily.

Fabree lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Fabree uses his free foot to push down on Swayze's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Swayze.
Fabree thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

Fabree is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Fabree!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Dexter Fabree!
