Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Todd Feager (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeremy Yablonski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Feager kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Mudvayne-Dig. Jeremy Yablonski will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Todd Feager! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jeremy Yablonski! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Alan Glass and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yablonski tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Feager paws at him with a jab and circles away. Yablonski tries to clinch up. Feager keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Yablonski tries to close the distance and clinch but Feager swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Feager darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Feager is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Yablonski! Feager scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Yablonski is desperately trying to improve his position but Feager has a good base and remains in mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Feager raining down shots from the mount! Yablonski is looking to improve his position but Feager isn't that keen on the idea. Feager cracks Yablonski with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yablonski in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Feager connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Yablonski is looking to get to half guard. Feager lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Yablonski wants to hold on but Feager pushes him away. Feager looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Feager could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Feager cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Feager takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Feager thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Yablonski's head. Yablonski is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Feager scores with a couple of nice shots. Yablonski looks gassed! Feager looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Feager wants to get back to his feet.
Yablonski is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Yablonski trying to control from the bottom.
Feager is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Yablonski trying to control but Feager postures up.
Feager works his way into side control. A lull in the action here as Feager stalls from top position. Feager in side control lands a decent elbow. Check out the look on Feager's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Feager is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Yablonski will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Feager stands up and we're back to a striking position. Feager scores a takedown into full mount!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Feager throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Todd Feager dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

The fight stays on the outside here - Yablonski looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Yablonski fails with the takedown and Feager counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Yablonski punching to the body, from the bottom. Yablonski not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Yablonski has his feet on Feager's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Yablonski doesn't succeed with the takedown and Feager counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Feager. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Feager throwing strikes but missing. Yablonski working a defensive guard here.

That's one minute gone in the round. Todd Feager overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Yablonski is trying to keep Feager in close.
Feager has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Yablonski tries to land a sweep but no joy. Feager throws a big right hand that misses.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Yablonski doesn't manage to clinch there - Feager circles away.

It looks like Todd Feager has been cut. Yablonski rushes Feager and presses him up against the cage. Yablonski is trying to break free. Yablonski jumps guard and drags Feager to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Yablonski is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Yablonski decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Yablonski shoots and misses and Feager counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Todd Feager has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jeremy Yablonski. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Yablonski is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Feager is trying to stand back up but Yablonski is controlling him

Feager wants to hold on but Yablonski pushes him away. Yablonski prevents Feager from getting the reversal. Feager is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Yablonski patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Feager breaks Yablonski's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Feager knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Yablonski on the ground. Yablonski is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Feager is controlling him. Yablonski trying to keep a closed guard but Feager is proving a slippery customer.
Yablonski might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Feager kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Yablonski wants to sweep here but Feager controlling him for the moment. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Todd Feager will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Todd Feager's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Yablonski lands with a nice body punch. Yablonski tries for a takedown but Feager circles away easily and Feager counters with a takedown into side control. Feager is staying tight to Yablonski's torso, preventing him from escaping. Yablonski is pushing Feager's head away, looking to escape. Feager manages to hold on to the position though. Yablonski managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Feager.
Feager content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Yablonski stops Feager from passing to mount. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yablonski is looking for a sweep. Yablonski is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Yablonski is trying to get back to full guard. Yablonski wants to control but Feager is keeping busy.

Yablonski had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Feager is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Yablonski Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Feager's back instead.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Todd Feager. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Feager, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
