Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Shazhan Lebeng (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vik Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lebeng looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Lebeng pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A combination from Lebeng does no damage.
Black swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Lebeng closes the distance but Black moves to the side
and Black counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Lebeng thows a leg kick but Black checks it
and Black counters with a thumping low kick.
Black misses with a double jab
and Lebeng counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

and Black counters with a head kick. That will keep Lebeng thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Lebeng throws a right hand that Black ducks under and follows up with a left that Black also avoids with ease.
Lebeng closes the distance and clinches up with Black, looking for a takedown. Lebeng pushes Black against the cage but Black circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Black goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Black throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lebeng.
Lebeng changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Black tries to avoid it but Lebeng manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Black to the ground. Black escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Lebeng tries to bum rush Black with a series of wild strikes but Black uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Black buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Shazhan Lebeng seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Black counters with a head kick. That will keep Lebeng thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Lebeng shoots for a takedown but Black saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Black feints and then cracks Lebeng's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Lebeng down.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Lebeng throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Black throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Lebeng stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

and Black counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
A head kick from Black lands but Lebeng takes it in his stride.

Black bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Black connects with a single shot there.
Lebeng tries to score a power double leg takedown but Black sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lebeng somewhat.
Lebeng is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Black.

and Black counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Black with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Lebeng steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Black. That one must have hurt.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Lebeng. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Lebeng moves in looking to clinch but Black pushes him off.
Black is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Lebeng rather than just go for the knockout.

and Black counters with a nice low kick that buckles Lebeng's knee momentarily.

and Black cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Lebeng crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Black - the referee stops the clock and Lebeng gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Black. Lebeng manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

That kick from Black tenderised Lebeng's leg. Lebeng is trying to keep his angry face on.
Black scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Lebeng doesn't seem bothered though.

Lebeng will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Lebeng feints a jab promting Black to slip. Lebeng then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Black slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Vik Black comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Black has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
