Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dave Yoma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Craven Morehead (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yoma comes to the cage accompanied by Paradise- Coldplay. Morehead has chosen The Mystery of Chess Boxing as his entrance music. Dave Yoma has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

8 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dave Yoma!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Craven Morehead!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, William Peck and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yoma throws a right hand that Morehead ducks under and follows up with a left that Morehead also avoids with ease.
Yoma looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Morehead throws a nice looking combination but Yoma bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Yoma shoots for a double leg takedown but Morehead sprawls well. He's pushed Yoma's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Yoma throws a lazy head kick
and Morehead counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Morehead checks a low kick from Yoma.
A clash of legs there as Yoma blocks the low kick.
Morehead has managed to clinch.
Yoma is trying to break the clinch but Morehead has him pressed against the cage.
Morehead tries to circle away but Yoma has him pinned against the cage.

Yoma wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Morehead has him pressed against the cage.
Morehead escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Morehead misses with a few strikes there.
Yoma is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Morehead instigates a clinch.
Yoma jumps guard but Morehead stands there with Yoma around his waist. Yoma gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Yoma has had enough of the clinch but Morehead keeps him there for the moment.
Yoma gets control of Morehead's arms and successfully pulls guard. Yoma will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Yoma feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Morehead bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Yoma's guard.
Morehead stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Yoma swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Yoma has his foot on Morehead's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Morehead works his way back into a safe position though.
Morehead wants to control from the top but Yoma keeps moving.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Morehead got a little sloppy there for a moment and Yoma has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Morehead has managed to get both his arms back between Yoma's legs - danger averted.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Dave Yoma's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Craven Morehead!
