Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Harques Wolfwood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Millar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Harques Wolfwood! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dan Millar! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Sam Margolis and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Millar shoots for a double leg takedown but Wolfwood sprawls well. He's pushed Millar's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Wolfwood blocks a head kick by Millar.
Millar stuffs the takedown attempt from Wolfwood. Wolfwood gets slowly back to his feet. No joy there for Wolfwood, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Millar misses with a takedown attempt and Wolfwood counters with a series of strikes. Millar will be more careful next time no doubt. Millar looks to land a combination. Wolfwood sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Millar ducks under a wild hook from Wolfwood. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A head kick misses from Millar. Millar fails with the takedown and Wolfwood counters with a left and a right that stings Millar. Harques Wolfwood has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dan Millar. Wolfwood bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Millar's head backwards. Millar throws a leg kick but Wolfwood checks it. Millar has a takedown stuffed. Wolfwood fails to land the takedown. Wolfwood moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Millar avoids a lazy jab quite easily. A left and a right from Wolfwood both land. Nice combination. Millar doesn't succeed with the takedown and Wolfwood counters with a left to the body. Millar looks gassed! Wolfwood shoots for a double leg takedown but Millar sprawls well. He's pushed Wolfwood's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. A bone on bone clash there as Wolfwood blocks the leg kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Wolfwood defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Millar. Wolfwood feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Wolfwood sitting in guard, not really doing much.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Millar working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Wolfwood. Wolfwood trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Wolfwood trying to control the position from guard on top but Millar is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Wolfwood pushing down on Millar's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Wolfwood thows a huge punch but Millar dodges it nicely.
Wolfwood missing with the ground and pound from half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wolfwood is keen to just control but Millar is a slippery customer. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Millar can do anything to dispel that myth. Wolfwood is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wolfwood content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Wolfwood has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Wolfwood is nestled in close to Millar, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Millar is pressing down on Wolfwood's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wolfwood stands and throws Millar's legs to the side, diving into side control. Wolfwood trying to control the position but Millar is working away. Wolfwood lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Wolfwood is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Millar is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Wolfwood is trying to ground and pound but Millar uses the momentary lack of control by Wolfwood to regain half guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Wolfwood missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wolfwood connects with a body shot that sends Millar's belly button to the back. Wolfwood will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Millar shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Millar looking to ground and pound but Wolfwood is blocking nicely. Millar throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Wolfwood wants to hold on but Millar pushes him away. Wolfwood wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Millar.
Wolfwood is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Wolfwood keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wolfwood wants to hold on but Millar pushes him away. Millar working some short elbows here. He postures up to throw some more ground and pound but Wolfwood slips a leg through to get back to half guard. Nice work.
Millar is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard. Millar postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Wolfwood pushes Millar off and gets back to his feet.
Millar tries to clinch there but Wolfwood circles away.
Millar shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Millar takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Millar takes one to the side of the head.
Millar misses with a takedown and Wolfwood counters with a nice double leg into side control. Millar won't be happy with that.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Wolfwood is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Millar defending against the ground and pound. Millar tries to improve position but can't. Wolfwood in side control, just content to control the action for now. Millar is not content to let Wolfwood control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Millar gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Wolfwood controlling his opponent. Wolfwood tries to control but Millar wriggling away. Millar really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wolfwood raining down shots from the mount! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Wolfwood looking to control but Millar is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Wolfwood breaks from Millar's wrist control and lands an elbow. Wolfwood lands a heavy elbow. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Wolfwood is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Millar can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Millar is breathing heavily. Wolfwood controlling from mount. Harques Wolfwood overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Harques Wolfwood dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Wolfwood lands a jab-cross combination. Millar fails to land the takedown. Millar throws a sloppy head kick and Wolfwood moves out of range easily. Wolfwood swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Wolfwood connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Millar fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Harques Wolfwood has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dan Millar. Millar takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Wolfwood throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Millar.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wolfwood connects with the punch. Wolfwood closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Millar's guard. Wolfwood throws a big right hand that misses. Wolfwood trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Wolfwood trying to control the position from guard on top but Millar is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Millar keeping full guard, as Wolfwood tries to pass. Wolfwood sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Millar's guard. Wolfwood sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. That's two minutes gone in the round. Millar throws a sloppy strike from the bottom. He's now off balance and Wolfwood manages to pass to side control. Wolfwood taking a breather here. Wolfwood trying to control the action but Millar is working from the bottom. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Wolfwood lands a nice forearm strike. Millar is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wolfwood trying to control the position but Millar is working away. Wolfwood takes a little break here. Millar wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Millar is not content to let Wolfwood control the position. Dan Millar has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Wolfwood is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Millar is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Wolfwood wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Millar, who protects the arm well. Harques Wolfwood is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wolfwood cracks Millar with a big right hand but Millar just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
A lull in the action here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Millar parries the strikes from Wolfwood easily there. Wolfwood is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Millar to escape.
And that's the end of the fight! Harques Wolfwood showed his dominance in that final round. Well Wolfwood has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Harques Wolfwood wins by unanimous decision! After the fight, Harques Wolfwood was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
