The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goldberg is looking to clinch but Samani is avoiding it.
Goldberg looks to throw the jab but Samani is out of range.
Rostam Samani seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Goldberg walks into a left hand.
Goldberg misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Left hook, right uppercut from Samani.
It looks like Bill Goldberg has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Goldberg moves in looking to clinch but Samani pushes him off.
An inside leg kick from Goldberg misses.
Samani getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Goldberg fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Samani avoids it really well and circles away.
Samani lands with an uppercut that bounces Goldberg off the cage and back into range.
Samani throws a nice outside leg kick.
Samani lands a big head kick that sends Goldberg to the canvas! Samani follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rostam Samani!
Rostam Samani tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
