The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Bruno Lombardi and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab lands there for Diaz.
Diaz rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fury moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Fury lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Fury misses with a body kick.
Fury lands with a thumping leg kick.
Fury connects with a solid leg kick.
Diaz thuds his right hand into Fury's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Diaz avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Diaz rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fury moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Diaz is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Diaz throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Fury.
Diaz really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Fury takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Fury throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Diaz shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Fury eats them both and turns towards Diaz to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
It looks like Nevar Fury has been cut.

Diaz moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Fury finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Fury pivots, looking for a leg kick but Diaz is out of range and Fury settles back down.

Nick Diaz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fury with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Fury lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Diaz is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Fury tries a low kick but Diaz avoids it.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Fury is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Diaz is forced to tap! Great finish!
