The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duarte fails to land the takedown.
A solid leg kick lands there for Lineker.
Duarte shoots in and drives through. Lineker sprawls well.
Lineker throws a quick inside leg kick.
Duarte fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
John Lineker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lucas Duarte.
Duarte looks gassed!
A solid body kick from Lineker.
Lineker cracks the inside of Duarte's front leg.
Lineker chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lineker throws a leg kick which misses Duarte's front leg but catches the back leg as Duarte tries to avoid it.

Lucas Duarte seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lineker lands a leg kick that knocks Duarte off balance momentarily.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Lineker. Duarte shrugs it off though.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Lineker.
Both fighters circling a little - Lineker finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Lineker lands a big head kick that sends Duarte tumbling to the mat! Lineker takes a step backwards and waves Duarte back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Duarte gets hit by the mother of all head kicks and drops to the canvas in a crumpled heap! Woooow, the Internet is going to be talking about this one for weeks!
