The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Skrzypczak fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Belt to the ground. Skrzypczak is now in Belt's guard.

Belt has his feet on Skrzypczak's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Belt stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Belt wants it to stay on the feet.
Krzysztof Skrzypczak seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice sprawl there from Belt as Skrzypczak shoots in.
Horrible takedown by Belt or perhaps it was just good defense by Skrzypczak which made him look bad.
Skrzypczak is trying hard to land a takedown here. Belt sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Red Belt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Krzysztof Skrzypczak.
Skrzypczak shoots for a double leg takedown but Belt sprawls well. He's pushed Skrzypczak's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Belt has Skrzypczak up against the cage in a clinch.
Belt has Skrzypczak pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Skrzypczak manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Belt turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Belt manages to end up in side control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Skrzypczak can do anything to dispel that myth.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Belt is trying to get an arm triangle but Skrzypczak is defending well.
Skrzypczak tries to buck Belt off but Belt is having none of it.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Skrzypczak parries the strikes from Belt easily there. Belt is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Skrzypczak to escape.
Belt trying to control the action but Skrzypczak is working from the bottom.
Skrzypczak really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Belt. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Skrzypczak tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Belt wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Belt has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Skrzypczak!
Belt lands a nice shot to the head.
Belt can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Skrzypczak is looking to escape.

Belt has isolated one of Skrzypczak's arms. Skrzypczak looking to fight him off but Belt twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
