Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rhys Sullivan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wilson Borges (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Wilson Borges!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, John Mangel and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Borges looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Borges is controlling the pace.
Borges is nestled in close to Sullivan, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Borges has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Borges is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Borges looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Sullivan with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Sullivan is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Borges scores with a couple of nice shots.
Borges seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Borges slips a nice elbow through Sullivan's hands, connecting with Sullivan's forehead.
Borges takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Still in half guard, Borges seems content to control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Borges working over Sullivan with some ground and pound. Sullivan looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Sullivan is in trouble now - Borges has advanced to mount!
Borges loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Sullivan scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Borges land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Borges stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Wilson Borges!
