Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rohan Mac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jackson Colt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rohan Mac!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jackson Colt!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Jonathan Paton and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Colt throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Mac counters with a left to the body.
Colt tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mac sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Colt somewhat.
Mac throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Colt.
Mac throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Colt tries to close the distance and clinch but Mac swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Mac tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Colt fails with an attempt to clinch.
Mac fails to land with a series of punches.
Colt dives in and scores a takedown into Mac's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Colt loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Colt chips away with some ground and pound.
Colt stopping the sweep attempt from Mac.
Colt postures up and lands a big shot to Mac's brow.

Colt throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Mac works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mac really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Colt chips away with some ground and pound.
Colt wants to stand but Mac is controlling his posture from full guard.
Colt throwing strikes from guard but Mac blocks nicely.

Mac utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Colt must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Mac is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Colt is controlling him.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Rohan Mac just wasn't active enough.
Mac tries to clinch but Colt is having none of it.

Colt looking to sit in guard and control but Mac gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Mac wants to stand but Colt has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Colt is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Mac is controlling him.

Mac passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Colt tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
Colt is keeping busy.
Mac working for the choke.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Colt controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mac is hanging on to Colt's back as he tries to escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Jackson Colt will probably get the nod.

Mac wants to clinch.
Colt bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Mac wants to control but Colt postures up.
Colt scoring with punches and elbows.
Colt is putting a hurting on Mac here, landing some big shots from side control.
Mac is looking for a sweep.
Mac regains half guard, as Colt was trying to land strikes.
Colt looks to land a strike but Mac avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Colt throws a strike but Mac rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Mac wants to control from the top but Colt keeps moving.

Colt wants to stand but Mac is controlling the position.
Colt not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Colt keeping moving, preventing Mac from controlling successfully.
Mac got a little sloppy there for a moment and Colt has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mac has managed to get both his arms back between Colt's legs - danger averted.
Mac looking to sit in guard and control but Colt gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Colt wants to control from the top but Mac keeps moving.
Colt throws an elbow that misses. Mac uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Colt's guard. Nice move by Mac!
Mac tries to stand but Colt is controlling from the bottom.

Mac won't allow Colt to get back to his feet.
Colt is breathing heavily.
Mac not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Mac gets to his feet - Colt follows without any prompting.
Colt throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Mac tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Colt is in Mac's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mac is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Mac is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Colt defends it well.
Mac wants to lay and pray for a moment but Colt keeps working.
Colt is in trouble now - Mac has advanced to mount!

Colt is squirming around, avoiding Mac's attempts to control the action.
Mac thowing shots but they're missing.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Colt can do anything to dispel that myth.
Mac trying to control but Colt is having none of it.
Colt wants to control but Mac is having none of it.
Mac fails to move to back control.
Colt tries to hold on but Mac pushes him away.

Mac looking to control but Colt is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Mac is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Colt is surviving well by controlling Mac's body position as best he can.
Jackson Colt has got the better of the ground game so far.
Colt is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Mac tries to control but Colt wriggling away.
Colt wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Colt rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Colt is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Mac has latched onto it... Big trouble! Mac pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Colt is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Mac!
