Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Truant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Kimble (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kimble blocks a jab.

Kimble closes the distance and clinches.

Kimble breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kimble keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Kimble clinches with his opponent.
Truant being controlled against the cage.
Kimble drops down looking for an ankle pick but Truant pulls his leg out and moves away.
Truant misses with a jab, cross combination.

Kimble forces Truant back against the cage and clinches.
A right hook to the body lands for Kimble.

Kimble gets control of Truant's arms and successfully pulls guard. Kimble will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Kimble wants to sweep here but Truant controlling him for the moment.
Kimble manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Kimble throwing strikes here but Truant is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Truant wants to hold on but Kimble pushes him away.
Truant is trying desperately to improve position.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Kimble cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Kimble is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Truant to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Truant shrugs it off.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Truant tries to lock up and control but Kimble gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Truant is looking to improve his position but Kimble isn't that keen on the idea.

Kimble postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Truant looks a forlorn figure.

Truant wants to escape the position.

Truant is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Kimble gets his way!

Kimble is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Truant is defending well though. Kimble let's go of the attempt for now.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Kimble is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Truant won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Kimble off his unconscious opponent!
