Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Melekh David (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carl Menger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Menger has chosen Bring Back The Music - by Sweatshop Union as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Melekh David! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Carl Menger! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Elvis Blanc and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Menger darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Menger keeps the fight on the outside. Menger tries to keep at a distance but David has taken the fight into the clinch. David blocking some punches.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Menger just misses with a elbow thrown towards David's brow. David wants to break the clinch but can't.
Menger landing knees to the head.
It looks like Melekh David has been cut. Menger lands with a light punch inside. Menger tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Menger throws an elbow but it misses.
David breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Menger throws a one two combo.
Menger feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Davids jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! David bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. David throws a hook to the side of Menger's head but Menger sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Menger tries a head kick but it misses.
Menger will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
David misses with a body shot.
Menger is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. David misses with a straight left.
That's one minute gone in the round. Menger tries to clinch up. David gets a double leg takedown into Menger's guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Menger working a defensive guard here.
David trying to control the position from guard on top but Menger is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Menger pulls David in to control the position. Menger looking for submissions from the bottom but instead David passes into half guard.
David is pressing down on Menger's thigh, looking to free his foot. Menger is holding on for now. Menger wants to control but David is keeping busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. David prevents Menger from improving his position. Menger trying to control from the bottom.
David seems to be working for a kimura but Menger defends the submission attempt. David landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Menger is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of David's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take David's back! Menger lands strikes to the head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Menger thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Menger not allowing David to control his hands. Menger connects with a big shot to the side of David's head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. David finds himself mounted whilst avoiding strikes. BOOM! Menger connects with a massive shot to the dome!
David is rocked! Menger looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has David covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
