Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Austin Worner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill Moss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Austin Worner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bill Moss!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Chris Downing and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Moss dives in and scores a takedown into Worner's guard.
Worner looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Moss trying to control the position from guard on top but Worner is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Worner is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Worner has a closed guard, preventing Moss from standing up.
Moss stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Worner swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Worner avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Worner really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Moss trying to control the position from guard on top but Worner is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Moss stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Worner swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Moss wants to stand but Worner has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Bill Moss wasn't active enough on the ground.

Moss throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Worner tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Moss is in Worner's guard.

Worner looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Moss works over Worner with some ground and pound from guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Moss throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Worner works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Worner avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Moss really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Worner. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Moss pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Worner is keeping the position for now.
Moss trying to control the position from guard on top but Worner is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Moss tries to stand but Worner is controlling from the bottom.

Moss is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Worner is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Worner has escaped and now he's on top!

Moss is trying to control the position but Worner postures up.

Worner stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Moss swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Moss wants to get back to his feet but Worner is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Moss has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Worner can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Worner stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Moss swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Moss looking for a sweep. Not yet Moss, not yet.
Worner pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Moss is keeping the position for now.
Moss wants to sweep but no luck.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Worner wants to pass the guard but Moss is keeping the position.
Moss wants to get back to his feet but Worner is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bill Moss dominated that round.
That's time! Worner's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Worner preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Moss wants to control from the top but Worner keeps moving.
Moss content to stall in guard here.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Bill Moss.
Moss lands with a shot to the body.
Moss misses with a series of wild punches.
Worner moves out of range of the leg kick from Moss.
Moss misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Moss instigates a clinch.
Moss just leaning against Worner, taking a breather.
Worner is pressed up against the cage. Moss has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Worner down to the mat. Worner avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Moss shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Moss stands up and waves to Worner to follow him.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Nice takedown defense from Moss. No joy for Worner on that attempt.
Worner looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Moss is fending him off so far but Worner persists. Nope, Moss circles away and we're back to standing.
Worner slips a jab and a cross from Moss.
Moss wants to clinch.
Austin Worner is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
A punch combination from Moss misses.
Moss throws a series of punches but Worner moves out of range.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Moss throws a one two combo.
Moss looks for a takedown but Worner sprawls well.
Moss closes this distance looking for a takedown but Worner circles away.
Austin Worner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bill Moss.

Worner changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Moss tries to avoid it but Worner manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Moss to the ground. Moss escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Moss scores with a takedown into Worner's guard.
Moss has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Worner is proving hard to escape from.

Moss throws a sloppy strike and Worner has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Moss is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Worner!

Austin Worner took to the mic after the fight and begged the organizational hierarchy for a shot at the title.
