Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cooper Sullivan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darrell Capulet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Damien Edna and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sullivan shoots in but no luck this time.
Capulet fails to land the takedown.
Sullivan has Capulet up against the cage in a clinch.
Sullivan has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Capulet uses from the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sullivan is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Capulet defends well.

Capulet working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sullivan doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Sullivan manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Capulet is on top in guard.
Capulet postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Sullivan is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Capulet, into his guard.
Sullivan won't allow Capulet to get back to his feet.
Capulet looking for subs off his back but Sullivan has passed one foot through into half guard.

Sullivan seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Capulet does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Capulet has hold of Sullivan's hands but Sullivan slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Sullivan decides to stand up.
Sullivan shoots for a takedown but Capulet saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Sullivan is breathing heavily.

and Capulet counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Sullivan's guard now.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cooper Sullivan. That's going to take a lot out of him.

That was a close round but I would say that Cooper Sullivan will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Capulet escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Sullivan gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Sullivan thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Sullivan is really struggling to control Capulet but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Capulet tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Cooper Sullivan has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Sullivan looks to throw the jab but Capulet is out of range.
Sullivan forces Capulet back against the cage and clinches.

Capulet tries for a takedown but Sullivan manages to get underhooks.

Capulet shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sullivan pinned against the cage. Sullivan gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Sullivan tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Capulet manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

and Capulet counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Sullivan's guard now.

Sullivan is looking to stand up but Capulet isn't so interested in that idea.
Capulet stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sullivan swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Capulet drops back, looking for a kneebar! Sullivan looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Sullivan looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Sullivan!

Capulet sneaks back into half guard.
Capulet is looking for a sweep. Sullivan is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Capulet gets back to full guard.
Sullivan throws an elbow that misses. Capulet uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Sullivan's guard. Nice move by Capulet!

Sullivan is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Cooper Sullivan is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Capulet pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Sullivan is keeping the position for now.
Capulet connects with a couple of short punches.
Darrell Capulet has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Sullivan pulls Capulet in close to his closed guard and prevents Capulet from doing any damage or advancing position.
And that's the end of the fight!
Darrell Capulet comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Sullivan has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
