Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Paul Buchanan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Shane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shane has chosen Another Me by Peroxwhygen as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Paul Buchanan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jack Shane! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Dean Styles and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck for Buchanan with that takedown attempt. Shane shoots in for a double leg but Buchanan sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Shane defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Buchanan. The fighters circling - Shane throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Buchanan shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Buchanan looking to control but Shane is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Buchanan looking to ground and pound but Shane is blocking nicely. Buchanan unloads with some shots from mount but Shane bucks and avoids them well.
Buchanan with shots to the head and body - Shane looks very uncomfortable down there. Shane holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Buchanan tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

Buchanan misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Shane is working to get back to half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Buchanan misses with a head shot. Shane wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Buchanan.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Buchanan raining down shots from the mount! Buchanan thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shane is in a horrible position here. Buchanan smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Shane really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Buchanan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Buchanan throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Buchanan pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Buchanan unloads with some shots from mount but Shane bucks and avoids them well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Buchanan raining down shots from the mount! Buchanan has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Buchanan is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Shane can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
That's four minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Buchanan throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Buchanan wants to control the pace but Shane is squirming around nicely. Shane blocking the ground and pound. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Buchanan trying to control but he's not successful this time. Shane is looking to improve his position but Buchanan isn't that keen on the idea. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Paul Buchanan dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Shane pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Buchanan shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Shane defends it nicely. Shane throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Buchanan's head. Shane looks for a takedown but Buchanan sprawls well. Buchanan shoots in looking for a takedown. Shane tries to sprawl out of it but Buchanan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Shane manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Shane tries a head kick but it misses.
Buchanan shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Shane as he jumps to the side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Paul Buchanan. That's going to take a lot out of him. Buchanan blocks a head kick by Shane.
Shane lands a high kick to the side of Buchanan's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Shane dives into guard, looking to finish.
Buchanan is rocked!
It looks like Paul Buchanan has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Buchanan wants to sweep but no luck. Oh Buchanan is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's one minute gone in the round. Buchanan had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Shane defends it easily. Buchanan seems to have got his legs back now. Buchanan looking for a triangle here. Shane is fighting it but it looks tight! Buchanan pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Shane is tapping out - this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Paul Buchanan! After the big win, Paul Buchanan made sure to do all the important stuff like thanking his sponsors Valhalla Fight Wear and telling the interviewer how much he loves him.
