Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chip Freedom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hoyt Jurgensen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Freedom comes to the cage accompanied by Star Spangled Banner. Jurgensen has chosen Peter, Paul & Mary - If I Had A Hammer as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
13 - 14 - 2, fighting out of New York, Chip Freedom!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

11 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hoyt Jurgensen!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Reed Andrews and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freedom stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Freedom wants it to stay on the feet.
Nice takedown defense from Freedom. No joy for Jurgensen on that attempt.
Freedom misses with the combination.
Jab from Freedom.
Jurgensen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Freedom tries to avoid it but Jurgensen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Freedom to the ground. Freedom escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Chip Freedom has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hoyt Jurgensen.
Jurgensen misses with a takedown
and Freedom counters with a head kick.
Jurgensen shoots for a double leg takedown but Freedom sprawls well. He's pushed Jurgensen's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Freedom stuffs the takedown attempt from Jurgensen. Jurgensen gets slowly back to his feet.
Freedom is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Jurgensen.
Jurgensen fails to land the takedown.
Freedom throws a shot from downtown. Jurgensen moves away and avoids it.
Freedom lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Freedom.
Jurgensen is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jurgensen shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Freedom but Freedom pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Jurgensen is still on wobbly legs! Can Freedom finish him?
Jurgensen closes this distance looking for a takedown but Freedom circles away.
Freedom pounces like a tiger and cracks Jurgensen with a vicious hook! Jurgensen is down but not out! Freedom follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Chip Freedom!
Our winner, Chip Freedom, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
