Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gearo Husamanto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Piugnu Kopo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Husamanto comes into the arena with paradise blaring out of the sound system. Piugnu Kopo told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Husamanto closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Husamanto remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Kopo is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Husamanto is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
