Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Javier Cabollaro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jedi Knight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Knight has chosen Why Can't We be Friends as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 27 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Javier Cabollaro! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jedi Knight! The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Dmitry Maklakov and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cabollaro circles away from the clinch attempt.
An inside leg kick from Cabollaro misses. Knight pushes Cabollaro up against the ropes in a clinch. Knight looking to stall.
Knight misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Cabollaro wants a takedown.
Knight is looking to control Cabollaro's arms but Cabollaro gets an underhook and turns him. Now Knight has his back to the ropes. Knight gets underhooks to prevent Cabollaro's takedown attempt.
Knight works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Cabollaro is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Knight trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Knight trying to control the position from guard on top but Cabollaro is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Knight has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Knight throws a big elbow that misses. Knight throws a big elbow that misses. Knight chips away with some ground and pound. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Cabollaro is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Knight is controlling him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Knight throws an elbow that misses. Cabollaro uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Knight's guard. Nice move by Cabollaro! Cabollaro wants to pass the guard but Knight is keeping the position. Knight wants to sweep but no luck. Knight is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Cabollaro with a flurry of punches that miss. Knight utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Cabollaro throws a big elbow that misses. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Knight holds on and takes a little breather.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cabollaro throwing strikes from guard but Knight blocks nicely. Knight pulls Cabollaro in to control the position. Cabollaro throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Knight works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Jedi Knight wasn't active enough on the ground. Cabollaro gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Knight counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Cabollaro's guard now. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Javier Cabollaro. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Cabollaro keeping moving, preventing Knight from controlling successfully. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Knight accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Knight pushing down on Cabollaro's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Cabollaro wants to get back to his feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Knight working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Knight is trying to control. Cabollaro wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Knight stalling. Cabollaro is not content to let Knight control the position. Knight looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Cabollaro tries to kick Knight off but Knight keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Knight throwing shots but Cabollaro is blocking nicely. Knight landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Cabollaro wants to stand back up but Knight manages to pass into side control.
Cabollaro is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Knight is controlling him well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Check out the look on Knight's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Knight lands a nice forearm strike. Knight looks up at the clock and then as Cabollaro takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Knight smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Cabollaro is rocked! Knight in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Cabollaro looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Knight turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jedi Knight! Our winner, Jedi Knight, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
