Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Corey Parker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jordan Jackson! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Steve Erwin and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson with a poor takedown and Parker counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Parker. Jackson taking a breather. Parker is trying to trip Jackson. He has hold of a leg but Jackson is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Parker persists though and gets the takedown into guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Parker stays in close to Jackson's body and controls the position. Jackson working for submissions but it's allowed Parker to get to half guard.
Parker is thwarting Jackson's attempts to control the position. Parker is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Parker is trying to work for a kimura but Jackson is defending well.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Jackson looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Jackson tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Jackson is trying to control but can't.
Parker stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Jackson to get to his feet. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Jackson on the wrong end of a nice jab.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jackson shoots in but Parker avoids the takedown attempt easily. Jackson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Jackson has his takedown stuffed and Parker counters with a three punch combo that has Jackson backing up. Jackson nods at Parker to acknowledge the strikes. Corey Parker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jordan Jackson. Jackson looks gassed! Jackson with a poor takedown and Parker counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Jackson's guard now. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Parker sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Jackson's guard. Parker takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Parker tries to pass the half guard into mount. Jackson knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Parker seems to be working for a kimura but Jackson defends the submission attempt. Jackson punching from the bottom.
Parker is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Jackson actively working from the bottom here. Jackson looking for submissions off his back. Parker is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Jackson is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Parker pulls his head out easily. Jackson is breathing heavily. Parker trying to mount his opponent but Jackson defends it. Jackson flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Parker is taking a breather. Jackson says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Parker decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Parker scores a takedown into full mount! Parker takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jackson sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Jackson is in trouble now - Parker has advanced to mount! Jackson is desperately trying to improve his position but Parker has a good base and remains in mount. Jackson manages to regain half guard. Good work. Corey Parker overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Jackson trying to hold on to Parker's head to control him but Parker postures up.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Parker is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Parker rolls with it to try and escape but Jackson cranks on the arm and Parker is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

After the fight, Jordan Jackson was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
