Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sovann Seng (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gil Gilbert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sovann Seng!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Gil Gilbert!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Eliza Hachem and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Seng wants to clinch.
Seng tries to clinch up.
Seng doesn't manage to clinch there - Gilbert circles away.
Seng lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Seng avoids the head kick by Gilbert.
Sovann Seng seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Seng tries to clinch up but Gilbert circles away and keeps his distance.
Seng misses with the combination.
Seng shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Gilbert eats them both and turns towards Seng to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Gilbert throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Seng tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Gilbert counters with an inside leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Seng wants to clinch up but Gilbert keeps it at a distance.
Seng stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Seng misses with a kick to the body.
Seng tries to close the distance and clinch but Gilbert swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Seng sizes up Gilbert with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Seng tries to clinch
and Gilbert counters with a nice body kick.
Seng throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gilbert.
Gilbert throws a head kick that misses.
Gilbert closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Seng to the mat! Seng manages to get full guard.
Gilbert stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Seng swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Seng is trying to control the position but Gilbert postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Gilbert is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Gilbert passes into half guard.
Gilbert is trying for a kimura here. Seng looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Gilbert wins by kimura!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Gil Gilbert!
After the big win, Gil Gilbert made sure to do all the important stuff like thanking his sponsors (MFS) Macto Fight System and telling the interviewer how much he loves him.
