Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Robero Tejada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drake Drogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Robero Tejada! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Drake Drogan! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Viktor Lagutenko and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tejada looks for a takedown but Drogan sprawls well. Tejada shoots for a double leg takedown but Drogan sprawls well. He's pushed Tejada's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Tejada gets caught flat footed, as Drogan shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Tejada looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Drogan trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Drogan has gone for a leg lock! Tejada slips out almost immediately though and dives into Drogan's guard. Drogan is looking for a triangle but Tejada pushes his legs off easily.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Drogan has his foot on Tejada's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Tejada works his way back into a safe position though. Tejada trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Drogan keeping moving, preventing Tejada from controlling successfully. Drogan looking for a guillotine here but Tejada defends easily.

Drogan looks gassed! Drogan utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Drogan isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Tejada stacks Drogan on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Tejada! Tejada trying to control the action but Drogan is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Tejada has his takedown stuffed and Drogan counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Drogan. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Robero Tejada. That's going to take a lot out of him. Drogan preventing the sweep. Tejada manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Drogan manages to get himself to full guard.
Tejada wants to pass the guard but Drogan is keeping the position. Drogan keeping moving, preventing Tejada from controlling successfully. Tejada throws and elbow that misses. Drogan uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Tejada's guard. Nice move by Drogan!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tejada is trying to control the position but Drogan postures up. Drogan pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Tejada is keeping the position for now. Tejada had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Drogan is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Tejada Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Drogan's back instead. Drogan trying to control the hands but Tejada breaks the grip.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Tejada struggling to keep hold of the position.
Drogan can't escape the position.
Drogan manages to reverse the position and now he's in Tejada's guard. Nice work there by Drogan.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Drogan shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Tejada defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Drogan. Tejada has given up his back. Will we see Drogan going for some submissions?
Drogan is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Drake Drogan dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.
Tejada fails with the takedown so Drogan counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Drogan wants to control from the top but Tejada keeps moving. Drogan is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Tejada working a defensive guard here.
Drogan lands a couple of elbows. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Drogan pushes down on Tejada's leg and manages to get into half guard. Tejada trying to control but Drogan postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Drogan is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Tejada tries to get to full guard but Drogan has control of the leg. Drogan is working for a submission of some sort.
Drogan is looking to advance position but Tejada won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Drogan performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Drogan takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Drogan is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Tejada has managed to free his arm - good work. Tejada is trying to control but can't.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Tejada fails with the takedown and Drogan counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tejada working for a triangle but Drogan defends it easily.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Drogan trying to control the position from guard on top but Tejada is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Drogan passes easily into side control. Nice work. Drogan wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Tejada, who protects the arm well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Tejada is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Drogan asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Drake Drogan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

That's one minute gone in the round. Drogan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tejada swivels though and keeps the full guard. Drogan takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Drogan prevents Tejada from getting back to his feet.

Tejada is taking a breather. Drogan says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Tejada really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Drogan is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Tejada's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Tejada's back! Tejada manages to reverse the position and now he's in Drogan's guard. Nice work there by Tejada.
Tejada is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Drogan is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Drogan has escaped and now he's on top!

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Robero Tejada. Well Drogan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality.
