Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John Skantze Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Snowball (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Skantze Jr had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 171.6lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Jimmy Snowball acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, John Skantze Jr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jimmy Snowball! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Joseph Jones and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Skantze Jr shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Snowball sprawls well. Snowball wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Skantze Jr gets slowly back to his feet. Snowball defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Skantze Jr. Skantze Jr fails to land with a series of punches.
Skantze Jr is breathing heavily. Skantze Jr walks into a left hand. Snowball thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Skantze Jr if he has to take too many more of those.
Snowball scores with a one two! Skantze Jr had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
It looks like John Skantze Jr has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Snowball connects with a good right hand that stumbles Skantze Jr. Skantze Jr circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Snowball lands a high kick to the side of Skantze Jr's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Snowball dives into guard, looking to finish.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Snowball accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Snowball trying to control but Skantze Jr is working from the bottom. Snowball trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Skantze Jr utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Snowball got a little sloppy there for a moment and Skantze Jr has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Snowball has managed to get both his arms back between Skantze Jr's legs - danger averted. Snowball trying to control but Skantze Jr is working from the bottom. Snowball with a flurry of punches that miss. Snowball working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Skantze Jr seems to have got his legs back now. Snowball wants to pass the guard but Skantze Jr is keeping the position. Snowball really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Skantze Jr. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Snowball wants to control from the top but Skantze Jr keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Skantze Jr avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Snowball must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Snowball throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Snowball postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Skantze Jr looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Snowball is defending well. Skantze Jr quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Snowball has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Skantze Jr celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
