Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John Skantze Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Snowball (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Skantze Jr had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 171.6lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Jimmy Snowball acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Joseph Jones and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skantze Jr shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Snowball sprawls well. Snowball wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Skantze Jr gets slowly back to his feet.
Snowball defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Skantze Jr.
Skantze Jr fails to land with a series of punches.

Snowball connects with a good right hand that stumbles Skantze Jr. Skantze Jr circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Snowball accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
