The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Lee misses its intended target.
Johnson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Lee was covering up waiting for the punch and Johnson finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Lee leaves Johnson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Johnson isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Lee stacks Johnson on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Lee!

Johnson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lee but Lee pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Johnson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lee's waist but Lee gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Johnson off to one side.

Johnson throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Lee tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Johnson is in Lee's guard.
Johnson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lee on the ground.
Lee pushes a forearm under Johnson's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Johnson is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

After the fight, Lex Lee was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
