Van Der Sluijs has chosen Shutterbugg - Big Boi Feat. Cutty as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blood fails with the takedown
and Van Der Sluijs counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

It looks like Zen Blood has been cut.
No luck for Blood with that takedown attempt.

Blood closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Van Der Sluijs to the mat! Van Der Sluijs manages to get full guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Blood drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Van Der Sluijs dives on top into guard.
Van Der Sluijs would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Blood lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Van Der Sluijs!

Blood moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Van Der Sluijs has worked his arm free - good work by Van Der Sluijs!
Van Der Sluijs has one of Blood's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage.

Blood is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Van Der Sluijs knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Blood working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Blood goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Van Der Sluijs has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Blood but great work by Van Der Sluijs.

Blood tries to advance to mount but can't.

Van Der Sluijs scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

Van Der Sluijs stuffs the takedown.
Blood changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Van Der Sluijs tries to avoid it but Blood manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Van Der Sluijs to the ground. Van Der Sluijs escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
